Telugu open recording dance

can somebody explain why these are called "recording dances"? It was my understanding that this are travelling village shows that show nudity and operate in certain parts of India on some sort of "cultural stage production" exemption / loop hole for public nudity...

Recording dance from Andhra. Definitely the best one I've seen of this genre. The young lady in off white towel is simply out of this world.
